FAQs:

What is IPL?
Intense pulsed light (IPL) or flashlamp therapy is a non-invasive and non-ablative treatment that uses high intensity pulses of visible light to improve the appearance of skin.

Which types of skin problems does it treat?
Vascular lesions and uneven pigmentation, age spots and acute acne.

How many treatments do I need?
Typically 3-5 treatments are recommended, 4 weeks apart.

What are the side effects?
IPL treatments are generally well tolerated, with minimal discomfort and side effects. Some patients may experience redness, swelling, or a mild sunburn-like sensation after treatment, but these side effects usually resolve within a few days. Results from IPL treatments may vary. Some people may notice an improvement in their skin after just one treatment, while others may need multiple treatments to achieve the desired results.
